Welcome to Eazy Events, an event ticketing platform based in Nairobi, Kenya. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Eazy Events, whether you are an event organizer creating and managing events or an attendee purchasing tickets. By using the platform, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. General Terms
- Eligibility: You must be 18 years or older to use Eazy Events independently. If you are under 18, you may use the platform under the guidance of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
- Acceptance: By using the platform, you agree to these Terms and applicable laws.
- Updates: We may update these Terms periodically. The current version will be published on this page.
2. Permitted Use
- For attendees: You may browse events, purchase tickets, and manage your bookings for lawful personal use.
- For organizers: You may create events, configure ticket inventory, manage registrations, and use the available organizer tools for lawful events.
- Prohibited actions: Unauthorized ticket resale, fraudulent activity, harmful interference, content infringement, and other misuse of the platform are prohibited.
3. Ticket Purchases & Refunds
- Payment methods: Supported payment methods are displayed during checkout. Payments are processed through the applicable payment provider.
- Ticket limits: An organizer may limit the number of tickets available to each buyer.
- Refunds: Refund eligibility depends on the organizer’s published policy, event and order status, applicable organizer obligations, and the law. Personal circumstances do not automatically create a right to a refund.
- Ticket delivery: E-tickets are sent using the contact information provided during checkout. Contact support promptly if an expected ticket does not arrive.
4. Event Organizer Responsibilities
- Event information: Organizers are responsible for accurate event descriptions, schedules, venues, ticket details, policies, and attendee communications.
- Pricing and inventory: Organizers set ticket prices and inventory, subject to platform rules and applicable law.
- Cancellations and changes: If an event is canceled, postponed, or materially changed, organizers are responsible for notifying attendees and meeting applicable refund or remediation obligations.
- Attendee information: Organizers must handle attendee information lawfully and use it only for appropriate event and communication purposes.
5. User Conduct & Violations
You must not:
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
- Duplicate, alter, forge, or misuse tickets.
- Upload malicious, unlawful, infringing, or deceptive content.
- Use attendee or organizer information unlawfully.
- Interfere with platform availability or security.
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address violations, fraud, security risks, legal requirements, or harm to users or the platform.
6. Disclaimers & Liability
- Platform availability: Eazy Events is provided on an “as available” basis. We work to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- Organizer events: Organizers are responsible for producing and operating their events. Eazy Events is not the organizer unless expressly stated.
- Third-party services: External websites and services are governed by their own terms and practices.
- Liability: To the extent permitted by applicable law, Eazy Events is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
